The link I found to be the most interesting was the Color of Money  links by Bill Deadman. The different articles he had posted there had to deal with the issue of race in the state of Georgia even “today” meaning in 1988 when the piece was published orginally. What I found to be so surprising is the fact that they turn African Americans but also the fact they turn down quite successful ones as well one man made three million dollars selling produce but couldn’t qualify for a bank loan? I found that to almost be humorous it was so farfetched .As I kept reading the bias seemed to wane a lot in story stating the fact that most Atlanta banks won’t look at a small business loan unless it was for over 100,000 dollars which most African Americans do not have the collateral for. But something still seemed a miss I wish they would have done a follow up article and done some more investigating to get to the bottom of this.

Overall I’d say this was a interesting site and a even better read I feel as though you need to culturally diverse yourself with other areas in the region to get a better overall perspective on stories such as this due to the fact number one it’s just a good thing to be doing and a journalist but secondly and perhaps more importantly if a situation like this were to arise in the town or area your reporting in you can look back to these stories and see how that journalist covered this similar story and  use that knowledge to better enhance your story.
